An opening has become available for a Secretary to cover maternity leave at a housing organisation based in Great Barr, Birmingham. Benefits include 30 days holiday including Bank Holidays, company pension and free car parking.
As the Secretary, you will be:
- Providing administration support to the Board, Executive, and other operational groups within the organisation
- Attending meetings, taking minutes, and monitoring actions for progress, taking corrective action or advising of problems/delays as necessary
- Maintaining the governance registers for board membership, induction, training and development
- Providing a highly proactive administrative service to the organisation including typing, reprographics, transport bookings, post and other general administration functions
- Providing a secretarial support service to the Head of Governance & Company Secretary/ Executive, assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of diaries, ensuring that all parties are aware of all forthcoming meetings
- Ensuring that hospitality is arranged as required
- Using all aspects of Microsoft Office and bespoke finance, housing and administrative software systems, as required
As the Secretary, you will have:
- Experience in attending meetings and taking minutes
- Confident supporting at senior management and Director level
- Strong administration experience with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- You may have experience in any of the following: PA, Personal Assistant, Administration Assistant, Senior Administrator, Administrator, Minute Taker, Project Administrator, Executive Assistant
As the Secretary, your salary will be £26,533 per annum depending upon experience plus a fantastic range of benefits
