Assembly & Warehouse Operative role
We currently have a Temporary to Permanent opportunity for our Birmingham based client.
The ideal candidate for the role would ideally have previous assembly experience but not essential. The main duties will be within the assembly department, but the selected applicant will have the opportunity to learn some or all other aspects of the warehouse.
Assembler duties will include:
- The assembly of products from components as per work orders
- Quality check parts during assembly
- Clean the finished product, pack and print labels
- Report any issues
The Assembler / Warehouse Operative duties role will also involve - Stock control / Dispatch / Goods in / out:
- Ensuring goods are booked in/out and stored away correctly using the computer system
- Complete necessary paperwork and perform stock checks where necessary
- Order Pick from pick lists
- Pack orders for dispatch
- Book deliveries onto system and print labels
- Report any stock discrepancies
- Housekeeping duties
To be successful in the role of Assembler / Warehouse Operative, you will need to hold a basic knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook). A good eye for detail is key. The individual must be able to use own initiative but work as part of a small team.
Hours of work are 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday (these hours could be subject to change).
