Are you passionate about delivering top-notch customer service experience? If so, then this role is for you! Established over 100 years ago, with offices across the UK and further afield, our client is now looking for a Customer Service Generalist to join their team based in Smethwick.
 
Salary is £24,600 per annum.  Benefits include: 34 days holiday including bank holidays, an enhanced corporate company pension scheme, a perk box subscription, BHSF Health Scheme, a fantastic employee awards package and free car parking. Hours of work are between the hours of 8am to 5.30pm, working 40 hours per week. 
 
As the Customer Service Generalist, your duties will include:
  • Receiving and processing requests from customers and colleagues via all incoming communication streams
  • Qualifying customer requirements and reducing customer downtime through scripted questioning
  • Liaising regularly with customers to provide real-time status reports on current active work and all matters relating to any maintenance agreements
  • Dealing with calibration Certificate requests, contract amendments and renewals (inbound queries)
  • Identifying optimum times within the workload and resource schedules to make appointments that meet customer requirements
  • Dealing with purchasing order requirements
  • Maintaining all Contract Database information confidentially including but not limited to; entering new Service Agreements, raising preventative maintenance/calibration visits, invoicing, and providing confirmation to customers
  • Maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based contract records
  • Carrying out other additional duties
As the Customer Service Generalist, you will have:
  • Strong focus on quality customer service with a natural desire to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Enthusiasm to learn, continually improve, and use knowledge to help others
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external customers
  • Ability to own and prioritise workload with an aptitude for multitasking
  • Computer literate with a sound working knowledge of Windows-based applications
  • You may have experience working in any of the following: Customer Service Representative, Customer Support Specialist, Client Service Specialist, Customer Relations Specialist, Customer Service Generalist, Client Support Representative, Customer Operations Specialist or any other similar position
