We are urgently recruiting for a Customer Service Manager; you will be joining a marketing leading Engineering organisation.  This is a remote working role, and you will be responsible for the UK & European customer services teams, therefore, you can be located anywhere in the UK, Holland or Germany.

You will be driving change and improvements across the different Customer Services teams to ensure digitalisation, organisation improvements and permanent management.  For this position, you must have previous Customer Service leadership experience, ideally, within the Manufacturing or Engineering sector.    

To be a success in the role, you will have the ability to build excellent stakeholder relationships, have the ability to collaborate at a peer to peer and executive level up and down the organisation with key stakeholders and all of their customers. 

As the Customer Service Manager, you will be accountable for:

  • Leadership and management of the Customer Service functions in Europe
  • Customer Delivery Effectiveness and delivery of KPI’s on a monthly basis
  • Identification of key projects, both in automation and transformation
  • Delivering projects on time and in budget
  • Ensuring engagement of different teams on projects being delivered

As the Customer Service Manager, you will have:

  • Previous experience working within a Customer Service leading position
  • Previous experience in data interrogation using SAP, this is essential 
  • Previous experience in building and or managing a Global or European support operation
  • Experience in managing, mentoring and developing teams
  • Proven ability to manage escalations both internally and externally
  • Proactive collaborative problem resolution experience within a challenging and changing business environment.
  • Experience in managing projects in collaboration with IT teams
  • Project management skills – planning, designing and delivering projects
  • Other European languages, however, this is not essential
  • Knowledge of AP S4, SalesForce and Five9, however, this is not essential
  • You may have experience of working as one of the following: Customer Operations Manager, Operations Manager, Head of Customer Service, Corporate Services Manager, Transformation Manager or Customer Relationship Manager

As the Customer Service Manager, £60,000 to £65,000 depending on experience, benefits include 34 days holiday including Bank Holidays, pension scheme and working from home allowance.
