You will be joining a large utility company who supplies to over a million people and over 30,000 commercial customers.
As the Energy Analyst, your duties will include:
- Analysis of operational data in order to monitor and report on performance and variances associated with the cost of water production
- Monitoring energy usage and undertaking monthly bill analysis
- Analysing trends in operating costs in order to identify and implement efficiency measures
- Liaising with operational staff and Senior Managers to drive down production costs and provide customers with lower cost bills
- Providing data and information for regulatory and reporting purposes
- Developing and improving systems used to collect and analyse data in order to maintain and improve accuracy of information
As the Energy Analyst, you will have:
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Excel
- Strong Mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- You may have experience of one of the following: Vlookups, Macros, Visual Basic, SQL, Qlikview, Quantrix, Index Matching, Mechanical Engineering Degree, Engineering Degree, Mathematics Degree, Maths, Computer Science Degree or experience as working as a Reports Specialist, Reporting Specialist, Commercial Analyst or Operations Technician
As the Energy Analyst, your salary will be up to circa £28,000 per annum. Alongside this, you will receive benefits such as:
