You will be working for a well-established organisation that is one of the largest UK manufacturers based in Kings Norton and they have been established for 30+ years. As the Finance Manager, you will have previous experience working within accounts/finance or bookkeeping experience. This position is part-time, working up to 24 hours per week, flexible hours available and hybrid working.

As the Finance Manager, you will be:
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Posting purchase invoices, selecting appropriate nominal codes
- Analysing credit card statements and posting
- Managing and processing accruals
- Analysing expenses and posting
- Producing a high volume of sales invoices and allocating correct codes
- Chasing outstanding monies owed, sending statements and copy invoices
- Posting sales ledger payments
- Organising BACS and payments for creditors
- Filing and scanning of all documents
- Assisting accountant with month-end paperwork
- Assisting with controls and month-end procedures
- Producing VAT report for Accountant as and when required
As the Finance Manager, you will have:
- Previous accounts/finance or bookkeeping experience
- Strong communication skills -ability to liaise with people at all levels within the business
- Must be highly organised and methodical in your approach
- Attention to detail and proactive approach
- Ability to prioritise your work
- Work well both autonomously and support other areas of the business
- Excellent IT systems knowledge and experience in MS office suites (intermediate level in Excel)
- You may have experience of the following: Accounts Manager, Bookkeeper, Accounts Team Leader, Ledger Manager, Bookeeper, Management Accounts Leader, Book-Keeper or Finance Team Leader
As the Finance Manager, you will receive a salary of circa £35,000 per annum pro-rata depending on experience / hourly pay rate is £15.00 to £19.00 per hour depending on experience.
