Are you an experienced Finance Officer with knowledge of Sage 50? This is a part time opportunity to provide accountancy support to a busy charity organisation based in Alum Rock, Birmingham.
The role is an interim position until the end of March with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Your working hours will be 22.5 per week / 3 days between Monday to Friday to suit you.
As the Finance Officer, your duties will include:
- Preparing accounts ready for audit
- Responsible for control accounts
- Completing accounts to trial balance
- Posting journals
- Completing nominal ledger
- Purchase ledger and nominal codes
As the Finance Officer, you will have:
- Previous experience in accounting and finance
- Experience in using Sage 50
- Previous experience working for a charity would be an advantage
- You may have experience in any of the following: Bookkeeper, Accounts Clerk, Accounts Team Leader, Finance Lead, Financial Officer, Accounts Supervisor, Management Accountant, Management Accounts, Accounts Manager, Finance Supervisor, Finance Manager or spelling variation: Book-keeper, Bookeeper
You will receive a salary up to £32,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience
