As the IT Buying Assistant, you will be:
- Communicating with the supply chain which consists of a high volume of suppliers and manufacturers, working towards a 2 hour SLA
- Handling a variety of queries including chasing suppliers for estimated arrival times and chasing proof of deliveries for the sales, accounts and warehouse teams
- Accurately processing manual purchase orders and resolving automated purchase order discrepancies
- Creating and reviewing department reports such as sales backorder reports, supplier reports and sales purchase profit/loss reports
To be successful as the IT Buying Assistant, you will have:
- Strong administration and customer service experience
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- We would be interested in speaking to you if you have experience in any of the following: Procurement Administrator, Purchasing Assistant, Buying Assistant, Buying Administration, Buyer, Supply Chain, IT Sales, Merchandising or Category Management or worked within the following industries: Audio-visual, Software, Print or Peripherals
Based in the Birmingham City Centre, you will receive a salary of up to £22,000 per annum as the IT Buying Assistant plus the following benefits:
