A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Marketing Assistant to join our client based in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Benefits include up to 10% discretionary company performance related bonus, 35 days holiday including Bank Holidays, 4:00 pm finish on Fridays, pension and free car parking.
You will be working for a not-for-profit organisation that provide improvement services to their specialist sector. You will be working hours will be 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Fridays.
As the Marketing Assistant, your duties include:
- Supporting the Head of Commercial Operations to implement the annual marketing plan
- Undertaking all activities within agreed budgets and in a timely manner
- Supporting the development of market leading creative and engaging campaigns
- Producing online and offline collateral and copywriting
- Ensuring everything published is accurate, well written and in line with the organisation values
- Proofreading and checking marketing materials
- Working across multiple marketing channels using various tools and techniques to deliver campaigns
- Assisting with the delivery of events and exhibitions where necessary and working with external suppliers
- Managing and owning digital and social media marketing campaigns using Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn via the Hootsuite platform. Making suggestions of monetary investment in key posts
- Identifying, updating and reviewing the website with press releases, news, flash bulletins and making suggestions where necessary
- Supporting the production of KPI reports and analysis and report to Head of Commercial Operations – Google Analytics and internal website used
- Being flexible in duties and responsibilities as you may be required to perform other duties such as answering calls and providing admin support
As the Marketing Assistant, you will have:
- A minimum of 6 months experience working in a marketing position or a recent graduate
- Responsibility, showing passion, initiative and a sense of ownership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and creative flair, ability to demonstrate good copywriting skills
- A strong “can do” attitude with interpersonal skills to work effectively both with internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines
- Excellent IT, analytical, administration and organisational skills
- You may have experience working as one of the following: Marketing Officer/Assistant, Communications Officer/Assistant, Social Media Officer/Executive, PR Support, Graphic Designer or a recent graduate or collect leave who holds a minimum of 6 months experience
As the Marketing Assistant, your salary will be up to £24,000 per annum depending on experience plus a fantastic range of benefits.
