You will be working for a well-established organisation based within the manufacturing and distribution industry and they have been established for 30+ years based in Tamworth. Hours of work are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, flexibility is required. 
As the Marketing Communications Executive, you will be:
  • Acting as a brand guardian ensuring all internal and external materials are consistent in tone of voice, messaging and visual identity
  • Assisting with protecting the brand reputation through social monitoring i.e., helping with responses to online comments, feedback, reviews and complaints
  • Assisting with the social media strategy
  • Overseeing the website’s CRM system, ensuring content is kept up to date
  • Attending and playing an active role at exhibitions and shows when Group Marketing Manager is unable to
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the generation of regular quality content from across the business
  • Working closely with the sales team and other departments to coordinate marketing and communications campaigns
  • Producing quarterly reports on marketing and communications campaign effectiveness, identifying and acting on areas for improvement
  • Liaising with internal staff regarding company news and product launches
  • Producing efficient briefs to Digital Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Coordinators
  • Working closely with the team on the writing, proofing and distributing of communications and internal briefing materials
  • Assisting with the implementation of marketing communications across the group with the ability to provide copywriting to a high standard for press releases
  • Developing the email marketing opportunities – managing the internal email diary for the group and topic decisions
  • Assisting the Group Marketing Manager in gathering market and competitor intelligence data
  • Assisting with social media content planning
  • Marketing campaign management – developing marketing campaigns that will suit both B2B and B2C audiences with the assistance of the Digital Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Coordinator
  • Undertaking other tasks as reasonably directed from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the business
As the Marketing Communications Executive, you will:
  • Have knowledge and experience of a wide range of online and offline marketing/communications techniques and concepts plus experience in copywriting
  • Have experience and be competent in MailChimp
  • Hold a UK Driving Licence as you are required to attend events as and when
  • Hold a Marketing degree or CIM qualification, however, this is not essential
  • You may have experience working as one of the following: Marketing Officer, Marketing Consultant, Marketing Executive, Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, Comms Specialist, Marketing & Comms Manager or Assistant, Content Marketer, Marketing Specialist or have an understanding of online and offline marketing
