A new opportunity has arisen for a Permit Coordinator to join a key organisation in the utility sector based in Walsall. Your benefits will include 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays, free car parking, onsite Gym membership and Eye and Dental care plan!

You will be joining a large utility company who supplies to over a million people and over 30,000 commercial customers.

As the Permit Coordinator, your duties will include:

  • Submitting streetworks permission applications, looking after specific geographical areas
  • Liaising with contract partners and the Highway Authority along with investigating, monitoring and reporting of non-compliance
  • Liaising with internal staff members as well as members of the public
  • Dealing with telephone and email enquiries regarding current applications

As the Permit Coordinator, you will have:

  • Experience within Streetworks or Permit coordination
  • The ability to work independently
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • You may have experience of one of the following: Streetworks Co-ordinator, Street Works, License Controller, License Administrator, License Coordinator, Planning Certification and Planning Consent Administrator, Licence Administrator

As the Permit Coordinator, your salary will be circa £23,000 per annum. Alongside this, you will receive benefits such as:
