You will be working for a key organisation who supply to over 1 million people and over 30,000 commercial customers throughout the Midlands and surrounding areas. As the Procurement Business Partner, you will be delivering a first class purchasing strategy throughout the organisation.
You will be working remotely from home for the foreseeable and returning to the office in Walsall once they reopen. As the Procurement Business Partner, you will be:
- Responsible for full OJEU processes
- Managing contracts, monitoring performance and reviewing before contracts become lapsed
- Responsible for negotiating with suppliers
- Responsible for leading, supporting and updating on tenders
- Working closely with stakeholders, building strong relationships and supporting with competitive purchasing processes
- Responsible for compliance, ensuring contracts comply with legislation and procedures
- Analysing spend, benchmarking and identifying savings and providing recommendations to senior management
As the Procurement Business Partner, you will have:
- Experience in full OJEU processes
- CIPS Level 5 qualified
- Valid UK driving licence
- Previous purchasing experience working alongside stakeholders and external suppliers
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- You may have experience working in any of the following: Buying, Buyer, Materials Manager, Category Purchasing, Purchasing Manager, Purchaser, Production Planning, Planner, cost negotiation
As the Procurement Business Partner, you will receive a salary of circa £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
