You will be managing the full procurement process, building strong relationships with stakeholders and negotiating the best terms for a variety of contracts and tenders key to this thriving organisation. You will be joining a large company who supplies to over 1 million people and over 30,000 commercial customers throughout the Midlands and surrounding areas.
As the Procurement Coordinator, your duties will include:
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and managing end to end competitive processes, reviewing and managing contracts, looking into performance and negotiating terms efficiently 
  • Analysing spend, benchmarking and identifying savings and best value and presenting recommendations to senior management
  • Ensuring perfect compliance with appropriate legislation and within company procedures
  • Leading contract reviews and updating tenders
As the Procurement Coordinator, you will have:
  • Previous experience in purchasing, buying or supply chain
  • Experience in dealing with EU tendering 
  • Experience in delivering procurement strategy, you must have excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • A strong understanding of compliance and legislation
  • Completed CIPS Level 5, however, this is not essential
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • You may have experience of one of the following: Contracts Coordinator, Tender Coordinator, Process Management, Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Business Partner, Supply Chain, Supply Chain Co-ordinator, Buyer, Buying, Purchasing Co-ordinator or worked with the following systems: Oracle, I-Procurement
As the Procurement Coordinator, you will be based in Walsall and your salary will be circa £40,000 per annum, depending on experience plus the following benefits:
