An opening has become available for a driven Product Development Administrator to join a thriving team within a leading manufacturing organisation on a temp to permanent basis. You will be working for an organisation well-established within the manufacturing industry, this leading manufacturer is looking to extend its team and recruit a new employee that will provide crucial support to internal departments to ensure strict launch deadlines are adhered to and uphold the company’s outstanding reputation in the industry.
 
As the Product Development Administrator, you will be:
  • Collating details from the new product specification sheets to create master data
  • Designating pattern codes
  • Setting up new products in the ERP system. Entering new item codes, bill of materials, weight and sales price, to enable new sales orders to be processed swiftly
  • Controlling discontinued lines on ERP system
  • Managing the production of all in-house test samples to ensure timely delivery
  • Ensuring all sales sample ranges are produced on time
  • Receiving and controlling all products in and out of the department, regularly clearing obsolete samples and preparing monthly stock reports
  • Working with Marketing to proofread all new catalogues to ensure data is correct before publication
  • Registering all new designs with ACID prior to product launch to protect Company IP rights
As the Product Development Administrator, you will have:
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst ensuring excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Demonstrate a desire to support the wider team and relate well to people at all levels throughout the business.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Previous knowledge and experience of working either within the jewellery industry or a manufacturing environment is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to demonstrate an intermediate level of competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.   
  • Ability to work in a methodical and systematic way
  • Excellent numeracy and computer skills
  • You may have experience of working as one of the following: Development Administrator, Project Assistant, Project Coordinator, Operations Admin, Ops Admin, NPD Admin, Online Admin, Website Assistant or have worked with: Microsoft Excel or Navision

As the Product Development Administrator, your salary will be circa £20,000 - £22,000 per annum depending upon experience plus a fantastic range of benefits.
