Our independent, family-run business based in Great Barr; Birmingham is currently looking for a driven Recruitment Apprentice to join our team.  If you are articulate, driven, self-motived, have a desire to learn and seeking career progression then this is the role for you!

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5.30pm with an early finish on Fridays at 5pm.

As the Recruitment Apprentice, your duties will include;

  • Dealing with incoming telephone calls from candidates and clients in a professional manner
  • Cleansing the in-house CRM system, ensuring all candidates, contacts, and company details are accurately inputted and updated
  • Writing attractive job adverts to resource candidates
  • Developing strong relationships with new and existing candidates and clients through excellent communication and relationship skills
  • Interviewing resourced candidates and ensuring every candidate is compliant with the right to work documentation and references
  • Identifying, assessing, and placing suitable candidates to meet client requirements in order to achieve revenue in line with corporate and personal goals
  • Developing and managing client/candidate relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality standards
  • Learning about marketing and engaging our customers through social media and campaign e-marketing
  • Supporting the office with general administration duties including uploading confidential documentation onto our internal system

As the Recruitment Apprentice, you will have:

  • The desire to learn or you may be seeking your next position within Recruitment
  • Have a professional and confident telephone manner
  • Be driven with the desire to become a Recruitment Consultant within 12 to 18 months
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Have experience of one of the following: Office Apprentice, Administrator, Recruitment Co-ordinator, Estate Agent, Lettings Negotiator, Sales Negotiator, Customer Service, Travel Agent, Sales, Recruitment Resourcer, Retail or Graduate.

As the Recruitment Apprentice, your salary will be between £17,000 to £20,000 depending on experience plus the fantastic benefits.
