You will be working alongside a team of experienced Quantity Surveyors who will help to support and develop your career growth, joining a Ground Engineering organisation who have been established for over 40 years! 

As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will be:

  • Completing monthly valuations, submitting applications as required by the company/contract requirements
  • Controlling contract matters on a number of projects including producing cash flow and forecasting reports
  • Carrying out internal cost value reconciliations of projects, producing monthly project reports for review with senior management 
  • Monitoring of the contract programme, identifying, raising early warnings, potential variations and quotations 
  • Liaising with customers and clients, resolving any queries

 

As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will need:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence people at all levels
  • Excellent numerical ability and awareness
  • Excellent Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • You may have experience of BSc degree Quantity Surveying, Construction Degree, Trainee QS, QS Assistant, Trainee PQS, Surveyor Apprentice, Estimating Assistant or Assistant Estimator

Your salary will be £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (depending on experience) and you receive fantastic benefits such as:
