We are currently recruiting for a Transition Manager to join our client who is a growing communications specialist.  This position will be a remote based for the foreseeable and thereafter, you will be agile working from the Cannock office. Benefits include 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays, enhanced sick pay, free car parking, flexible benefits scheme, life assurance, employee benefits programme, cycle to work scheme and the employee assistance programme.

As a Transition Manager, you will be:
  • Managing the transition of new support services from the project phase to the operational phase.  Working with the Account Management, Project Management, Technical Services teams to ensure support contract set up in line with ready for service activation
  • Reviewing the Customer Contracts to understand the support contract inclusions, proposed service wrap, and any other specific contractual obligations to the customer
  • Coordinating with both sales and operations to ensure that the requirements of the ongoing operational support team are understood and captured. (if required facilitate internal transition calls to ensure operational awareness)
  • Ensuring that the correct service levels and obligations are recorded including operational support model, service wrap, underpinning service and supported hardware and software
  • Ensuring all backed off contracts and associated PO’s to vendors/suppliers where applicable are in place and all relevant details, SLA, renewal information, rules of engagement are understood and documented within the support database. This may include the transfer of ownership for any Vendor Support / Software Assurance requirements
  • Managing the year 1 invoicing of the support service
  • Initiating the Welcome Pack on successful completion of the Transition Service
  • Dealing with the customer Portal set up
 
As the Transition Manager, you will have:
  • Previous experience working within the Telecommunications sector, experienced in dealing with mobile contracts
  • Ability to work under own initiative but also as part of a team as well as building strong working relationships
  • Analytical thinking and ability to think outside the box, challenge the norm where appropriate but be open to constructive feedback
  • Ability to interrogate and validate data from several sources, extracting key and critical information to achieve the end goal
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal and communication skills
  • You may have experience of working as one of the following: Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Project Lead, Telecommunications Order Processor, Account Manager, Order Processor, Customer Advisor, Telecommunication Coordinator and Administrator
As the Transition Manager, you will receive a salary of circa £21,000 to £25,000 per annum depending on experience plus fantastic benefits.
