As the Underwriter, you will be:
- Assessing all cases from our brokers in a timely manner in order to make informed underwriting decisions that are in line with company policies, procedures, and lending criteria
- Updating brokers and solicitors with accurate information throughout the process
- Reviewing and analysing our portfolio to achieve the company’s objectives
- Managing a pipeline of cases through to completion
- Providing a high level of customer service at all stages of an application
As the Underwriter, you will:
- Ability to adopt a pragmatic approach to underwriting and have strong organisation, communication, and analytical skills
- Be driven and self-motivated
- Be able to work to a fast pace, with excellent attention to detail
- You may have experience working as an Underwriter, Mortgage Underwriter, Underwriting Senior, Claims Handler, Insurance Broker, Claims Manager, Insurance Advisor, Second Charge, Mortgages, Bridging Loans, Commercial Loans, and Finance
As an Underwriting Assistant, your salary will be circa £27,000 per annum. Alongside this, you will receive fantastic benefits such as:
