An International Consultancy & Training Company that specialises in Engineering, Maintenance, Mechanical and Facilities Management are seeking a Business Development Executive who has strong interpersonal and presentation skills to join their team based in Solihull.  Salary is up to £30,000 plus an uncapped OTE up to £60,000.
Benefits include 25 days of holiday plus statutory Bank Holidays, field-based working, a mobile phone allowance, paid business mileage, training and development and free on-site car parking. You must be flexible and willing to travel within the UK to events and client meetings.  
As the Business Development Executive, your duties will include:
  • Develop a pipeline of new businesses and build business relationships with FM Managers and Directors
  • Managing and supporting new customer accounts
  • Proactively promoting services available by telephone and marketing campaigns  
  • Supporting marketing campaigns alongside Marketing, as directed
  • Utilising social media to develop new and existing accounts
  • Attending exhibitions
  • Generating leads and using initiative to follow up on behalf of the business
  • Compiling proposals and delivering presentations to Clients
As the Business Development Executive, you will have:
  • Previous experience working within a 360 Business Development position
  • Experience working with or within the Estates, Building or Facilities Management sector and knowledge of the software packages relating to these sectors
  • A technical understanding of buildings
  • Experience in utilising social media to develop business
  • Previous experience in using Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge and experience in maintaining a CRM
  • Previous engineering experience or engineering background, however, this is not essential
  • You may have experience working as one of the following: Facilities Manager, Area Manager, Contract Manager, Business Development, Telesales Manager, Partnership Manager, Market Development Manager, Strategic Account Manager, Account Director, Recruitment Consultant within the FM environment, Sales Manager
