We are hiring a Customer Service Advisor; you will be working for a well-established organisation based within the manufacturing and distribution industry and they have been established for 30+ years based in Tamworth.

  • Salary is circa £24,000 to £25,000 depending on experience
  • Hours of work are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday

As the Customer Service Advisor, you will be:
  • Managing assigned accounts, providing customer support and coordinating with External Sales Managers
  • Handling calls, inquiries, and switchboard overflow
  • Processing orders, quotes, and sample requests using Sage and in-house systems
  • Managing delivery bookings, email inquiries, and filing
  • Raising claims for lost/damaged goods and track shipments
  • Maintaining customer database and overseeing orders, deliveries, and service levels
  • Processing returns, credits, and debit notes; handling related queries
  • Coordinating faulty returns and liaising with carriers and the Quality department
  • Monitoring outstanding returns, chasing resolutions, and updating reports
  • Performing other administrative and customer service tasks as needed
As the Customer Service Advisor, you will have:
  • Previous experience dealing with returns
  • Previous customer service or administration experience
  • Excellent customer service skills, offering the best personal experience at all times
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • You may have experience working in the following: Customer Service Assistant, Communications Assistant, Office Assistant, Call Centre Operative, Contact Centre Operative, Membership Co-ordinator, Telesales, Administrator, Office Assistant, Returns Administrator, Recruitment Co-ordinator, Recruitment Support, Sales Administrator, Helpdesk and Contact Centre Administrator
