Are you passionate about providing advice and guidance? We are currently recruiting for a Student Support Officer to work on a hybrid basis, in a Fixed Term Contract until December 2024. You will be working for a leading organisation within the education field, providing practical support on a variety of subjects.

Your working hours will be 35.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm which includes 2 days per week working on a hybrid basis from home.
As the Student Support Officer, you will be:
- Providing impartial and confidential advice to students
- Advising in a number of areas including housing, education, wellbeing and finance
- Managing cases and referring to relevant organisations where necessary
- Providing guidance on a face to face basis as well as online and over the telephone
As the Student Support Officer, you will have:
- Experience in providing guidance in one of the following areas: housing, education, employment, wellbeing or finance
- Experience working with students or in an academic setting would be an advantage
- IT literate, experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel
- You may also have experience in any of the following: Education & Welfare Advisor, Support Advisor, Wellbeing Adviser, Finance Adviser, Citizens Advice Bureau, Acas, Support & Guidance Officer, Housing Advisor or Adviser
As the Student Support Officer, you will receive a salary of £27,300 per annum plus fantastic benefits.
