Job Opportunity: Project Coordinator
Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000

We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our client’s dynamic team based in Tamworth. You will be working for a well-established organisation based within the manufacturing and distribution industry and they have been established for 30+ years based in Tamworth – Free car parking is available.  Hours of work are Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9.00 am to 5.30 pm, working 40 hours per week. 
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the successful execution and delivery of various projects within the organisation. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to major initiatives such as ERP/WMS implementation while also managing critical internal projects that drive the day-to-day operations forward.
 
As the Project Coordinator, your duties will include:
  • Collaborating with the project manager to plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities
  • Monitoring project progress and deadlines, proactively identifying and addressing any deviations
  • Preparing thorough project documentation including scope documents, business cases, project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
  • Facilitating seamless communication and collaboration between project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors
  • Tracking project expenses and resources, maintaining accurate records and producing insightful reports
As the Project Coordinator, you will have:
  • Proven experience in project coordination or administration with a successful track record
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Prince2 or Project management certification would be advantageous, however, not essential
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • You may have experience working in any of the following: Project Assistant, Project Support Specialist, Project Scheduler, Project Planner, Project Control Specialist and Project Implementation Coordinator
As the Project Coordinator, you will receive a salary of circa £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience plus a fantastic range of benefits.
