We are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be working for a growing international metals company based in Oldbury that has been established for over 65 years and supplies various industries including oil & gas, automotive, engineering and aerospace.
Benefits include hybrid working – working from home on a Friday (after probation), 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays, medical cover, life insurance, free car parking, pension, bonus. Hours of work are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00 am to 2.30 pm on Friday.
Salary is up to £35,000 depending on experience.
As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be:
- Processing product and overhead invoices
- Processing employee expenses
- Dealing with AP/expense payments and allocation
- Assisting with payroll, pension and P11D administration
- Carrying out weekly/monthly bank reconciliations
- Dealing with bi-monthly cash forecasts
- Supporting month-end close and reporting including cost analysis/TB preparation and review/balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns
- Managing the Time and Attendance System - hours and holidays
- Supporting external audits
- Carrying out general administrative duties as required
As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will have:
- Extensive experience working in a similar position
- Previous experience working within the Manufacturing or Engineering sector
- Extensive experience in invoice processing & month-end reporting and processes
- Ideally a relevant qualification
- Ideally past exposure to SAP
- Drive, intelligence and be a team player who achieves what needs to be done
