Supply Chain Planner Opportunity – Join a Leading Team
We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator to support the Supply Chain Manager and colleagues in delivering exceptional service and maintaining a well-organised and high-performing supply chain function. You will be working for a well-established organisation based within the manufacturing and distribution industry, established for over 30 years, based in Tamworth – free car parking is available. Hours of work are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Salary is £24,000 - £26,000
About the Role
As a key part of the supply chain team, you will:
- Use advanced software to analyse sales forecasts and determine stock requirements.
- Identify risks and variances, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain accurate data, including stock balances and SKU information.
- Place replenishment orders considering lead times, unloading capacity, and minimum order quantities.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Customer Services, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.
- Build strong supplier relationships to ensure capacity meets business demands.
- Address supply issues and quality concerns proactively.
- Optimise supply channels to control costs and enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate and validate shipping/import documentation and pre-shipment inspections.
- Assist in international shipping, including goods from the UK to Far East suppliers.
