We have an interesting and varied Sales Order Processor position available in West Bromwich, with a world-leading provider of industrial mechanisms, distributing products across the world.

You will be working for an international organisation with an impressive 250-year history!

This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week with some flexibility available on working hours, on a hybrid basis. The salary is up to £26k, depending upon experience.

 

As the Sales Order Processor, your duties will include:

  • Processing sales orders, invoicing, and providing excellent admin support
  • Providing regular updates to customers regarding their order, including costs and shipping information
  • Monitor sales enquiries and provide information to potential customers regarding availability or delivery
  • Process purchase orders and monitor progress to keep track of orders
  • Report to senior management regarding orders, shipping status, and invoice status
  • Keep accurate records of all relevant documentation regarding orders
  • Process order amendments and returns
  • Issue invoices to customers ensuring accuracy and adherence to the terms agreed
  • Provide great customer service in general for all enquiries
  • Work collaboratively with the wider business to ensure accuracy and a streamlined process

 

As the Sales Order Processor, you will have:

  • Experience in processing sales orders
  • Great customer service skills, able to converse with customers and other departments
  • Experience in dealing with logistics and/or international order shipping and deliveries
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Skilled with MS Office
  • Experience using a CRM system to manage customers and orders
  • Ability to work under your own initiative while engaging well with your team
