You will be working for a well-established organisation based within the manufacturing and distribution industry who have been established for 30+ years based in Tamworth – Free car parking is available. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, working 37.5 hours per week.
You will be joining a fast-paced team, offering full administration support and cover to the Customer Service department.
As the Administrator, general duties will include:
- Full admin support, liaising with many departments across the business.
- Running and analysing reports to spot trends and proactively resolve issues.
- Order processing for marketing point of sale boards (stock and bespoke)
- Track and report to relevant departments on any marketing board orders
- Quality replacement orders
- Booking in of deliveries for key customers
- Processing customs declarations cover
- Entering of orders and debit notes on to in house system cover
- Switchboard overflow and full reception cover
- Monitoring and ordering stationery for head office
- Scanning and validating documents on to our archive system
- Organising collections with carriers for returns/quality department
- Monitoring and reporting on arranged collections
- Overseeing carrier daily delivery reports. Corresponding with carriers, Customer Service and warehouse to get a resolution on all failed deliveries Actioning all claims, cross referencing carrier invoice with our claims to ensure complete with the admin team
- Any other ad-hoc office administration duties as and when required to support customer service and other departments
As the Administrator, you will have:
- Previous administration and/or reception experience would be preferred
- Experience in Customer Service Administration functions, would be beneficial, however, not essential
- Good Excel knowledge is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Sage would be advantageous but training will be given
- You may have experience of the following: Administrator, Office Assistant, Office Coordinator, Customer Service Assistant, Customer Service Advisor, Communications Assistant, Office Assistant, Call Centre Operative, Contact Centre Operative, Membership Co-ordinator, Customer Service Admin or Helpdesk and Contact Centre Administrator
Salary is £23,000 per annum plus a fantastic range of benefits.
