A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Collections Advisor to join a well-established company in Sutton Coldfield, you will be based in a thriving office ensuring all Debtors are correctly collected and administered in a timely manner. This is a 2-year fixed-term contract based centrally in Sutton Coldfield, this company has excellent public transport links!
As the Collections Advisor, your duties will include
- Preparing and submitting fortnightly Direct Debit runs for pre-need
- Compiling monthly debtor’s data for Pre Need and present the analysis to senior management each month
- Maintaining a database for all Direct Debits for Pre Need and At-Need
- Maintaining the Debt Admin Helpdesk for both At Need and Pre Need
- Providing support to both Pre Need and Operations in connection with their unpaid balances, by advising them of collections and write-offs
- Ensuring all Crematoria cash is applied on a monthly basis
- Performing any other duties as directed by the Ledger Manager
As the Collections Advisor, you will have:
- Previous data entry experience
- Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach
- Experienced Microsoft Excel user
- You may have experience of working as one of the following: Administrator, Customer Service Administrator, Direct Debit Collector, Direct Debit Collector, Debt Advisor, Accounts Administrator, Sales Ledger, Credit Controller, Bookkeeper
You will receive a salary of circa £20,000 per annum as the Collections Advisor, plus the following benefits:
