A new temporary cover opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor near Birmingham City Centre with easy public transport links. You will be working for an organisation that manages public transport travel across the West Midlands region. This is an ongoing temporary assignment. 
 
You will be working 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8.00 am to 6.00 pm on a shift rota basis, shifts you will be covering will either be 8.00 am to 4.00 pm or 10.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday. 
 
You will also be required to cover every other Saturday – working from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, you will receive a day off in the week as lieu when working a Saturday.
 
As the Customer Service Advisor, you will be:
  • Taking incoming calls from the public relating to transport enquiries
  • Booking transport for the general public
  • Providing first line support for technical queries
  • Making outbound calls to customers who are in arrears on their accounts
  • Providing general administrative support
As the Customer Service Advisor, you will have:
  • Previously worked in a customer service position
  • Superb communication skills
  • Experience in inputting with speed and accuracy
  • Call handling experience
  • You may have experience with the following: Call Handler, Contact Centre Advisor, Query Handler, Team Assistant, Administrator, Customer Service Administrator, Booking Administrator, and Reservations or any other similar position
As the Customer Service Advisor, you will receive an hourly pay rate of £11.44 per hour.
