Benefits include free car parking, 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays. You will be working for a well-established greetings card and balloon wholesale company, trading for nearly forty years, based in Walsall. Hours of work are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.
This is a great opportunity for a creative person looking to start their career in Graphic Design/Social Media. You must be experienced in using an Apple Mac and have a good understanding of Adobe’s Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop software.
As the Graphic Design & Social Media Assistant, you will be:
- Assisting in the creation of artwork for social media and writing copy for social media postings
- Working alongside the Marketing Manager in producing graphics / artwork for direct emailing campaigns
- Assisting in designing promotional material including online banners and flyers
- Dealing with Social Media postings, responding to comments and updating the web
- Taking photos of products to utilise within campaigns and social media postings
As the Graphic Design & Social Media Assistant, you will have:
- Appropriate college/university design qualifications, or previous experience working within a similar position, either agency or client side
- A high level of ability and experience using an Apple Mac computer and Adobe’s Creative Suite software, specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Experience in creating Social Media posts, including writing copy and applying relevant tags on Instagram & FB
- A natural creative ability with excellent design skills
- Strong graphic design and typography skills
- You may have experience working as one of the following: Design Assistant, Junior Designer, Assistant Designer, Social Media Assistant, Marketing Assistant, Marketing Specialist, Marketing Administrator or Graphic Design Assistant
