We are currently seeking a Membership Administrator to join our client based in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. You will be working for a not-for-profit organisation that provide improvement services to their specialist sector.  For this position, you must have previous experience working within an FCA regulated organisation.    

Benefits include a BHSF package, internal benefits package and 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays.  Hours of work are 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. 

As the Membership Administrator, your duties will include:

  • Ensuring the timely, efficient, and accurate processing of insurance applications and renewals
  • Receiving and responding to applicant/member queries, including issuing duplicate certificates
  • Distributing membership packs alongside the insurance documentation
  • Responding appropriately to communications on the telephone or in writing in line with organisational and insurance regulatory standards where appropriate
  • Handling other communications received via email, website, voicemail, text or hard copy in a timely manner
  • Undertaking other administrative duties, including, receipt of and distribution of deliveries, distributing incoming and outgoing post, as required

As the Membership Administrator, you will:

  • Possesses previous experience working to FCA regulations
  • Have experience of working within Customer Service and Administration
  • The ability to undertake high volume repetitive tasks as well as handle unique queries accurately and conscientiously
  • Be organised and efficient with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills on the telephone and in writing with a focus on excellent service
  • A good team player
  • You may have experience of working as one of the following: Membership Advisor, Applications Administrator, Claims Handler, Admin Officer, Administrator, Insurance Co-ordinator, Insurance Administrator, Membership Co-ordinator, Customer Service Administrator or Customer Co-ordinator  

As the Membership Administrator, your salary will be up to £19,000 per annum depending on experience plus a fantastic range of benefits.
