Do you have previous experience working as a Production Planner?
 
Our client, a leading manufacturer has an exciting opening for an experienced Production Planner to join their organisation based in Minworth, Sutton Coldfield. This is a new role that has been created, if you are seeking a stand-alone position, where you will manage the production planning from start to completion to meet customer demands and optimise resources, then please apply!

Hours of work are either 8am to 4.30pm or 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, working 40 hours per week. 
 
As the Production Planner, you will:  
  • Plan and organise production schedules
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to gather relevant data for effective production planning
  • Highlight any capacity constraints or Bottlenecks throughout the business
  • Monitor inventory, to ensure stock usage is being optimised
  • Utilise AMS ERP system to maintain accurate production planning
  • Communicate Production schedules to relevant departments and adjust plans as needed
  • Evaluate and implement continuous improvement initiative to enhance production processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve production related issues
  • Review and develop production KPIs
  • Reviewing monthly production outputs
  • Control and monitor production related costs to maximize profits
  • Travel may be required to other AMS Facilities (Belfast & Bristol)
As the Production Planner, you will have:
  • Previous experience working as a Production Planner
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing production and processes
  • A Full UK Driving Licence as public transport links are limited
  • You may have experience working within one of the following; Stock Controller, Production Manager, Stock Manager, Inventory Manager, Material Planner, Manufacturing Coordinator or any other similar position
Your salary is up to £35,000 depending on experience plus a fantastic range of benefits.
