Our client, a leading manufacturer has an exciting opening for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their organisation based in Bristol. Hours of work are 8.30 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday and 4.30 pm finish on a Friday, working 40 hours per week.
As the Quality Engineer, you will be:
- Monitoring and measuring the output of key processes against defined targets to meet the expectations of internal & customer requirements
- Implementing continuous improvement to improve production
- Providing support to the warehouse, sales, and shipping departments for quality-related issues
- Undertaking continuous improvement activities as directed by the Group Quality Manager
- Discussing investigation results with Management
- Carrying out other additional duties whilst working really closely with the Shop Floor
As the Quality Engineer, you will have:
- Previous experience working within a similar position, experienced in carrying out internal audits
- Previous experience within the Aerospace or defence industry
- Knowledge and experience of ISO9001:2015 and AS9100
- Experience in using quality-related tools such as 5 why, FMEA or DMAIC
- An understanding and experience of 8D problem resolution tools
- A confident Microsoft Excel user, experienced in producing reports

As the Quality Engineer, you will receive a salary of £30,000 per annum with excellent benefits.
