Sales Support Administrator

Using your expertise in customer liaison alongside your administration skills, you will be working in a fast paced environment to support the management team with all customer order related situations and providing support for your customers. This company is a national provider of food products across the UK who have been established for over forty years. As a certified wholesale company, they are actively involved in working with some of the largest retailers in the UK. 


Your main duties as Sales Support Administrator will include:

  • Liaising with customers and a designated account manager to process orders and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Entering orders received via telephone and email onto the database system
  • Contacting existing customers to discuss promotions and additional products on a regular basis
  • Sending customer order confirmation once orders have been processed
  • Maintaining spreadsheets using Excel to track prices and margins and report low margins to the account manager
  • Liaising with the Transport Department to ensure that goods are delivered in line with customer expectations
  • Arranging samples to be sent to customers 
  • Forecasting sales and updating forecast records


The ideal Sales Support Administrator will have:

  • Previous experience working within a sales administration role
  • Experienced in using Excel spreadsheets
  • Natural ability to build relationships with customers
  • We would love to hear from you if you have experience in any of the following: Customer Assistant, Client Assistant, Customer Service Advisor,  Upselling, Cross-selling, Business Development Assistant, Strategix, CRM or SAP systems


As the Sales Support Administrator, you will receive a generous salary circa £20,000 per annum plus the following benefits:
